Zealand's best beaches and an array of activities that could easily fill a

Located in the heart of the beautiful Bay of Plenty, and close to the
city of Tauranga, Warm Earth is an idyllic place to base yourself for a
romantic holiday of relaxation and discovery.
The Bay of Plenty, with beautiful natural harbours, endless white surf
beaches and easy going lifestyle is one of New Zealand's most popular
holiday destinations. In the past decade the region has experienced a huge
population boom with people drawn to the vibrant, coastal lifestyle.
Katikati is known globally as New Zealand's only mural town, and has
other claims to fame. The town is home to a Haiku Pathway, vineyards, hot
spring pools, cafes, and jazz music.
From an initial three paintings in 1991 the town is now home to nearly
40 murals adorning the town walls. Katikati is built on the banks of the
Uretara River and is fast becoming known for its summer evening concerts
in January and February featuring jazz, classical and contemporary music.
These are usually set in large private gardens with national and
international performers.
As well, Katikati offers a growing collection of other outdoor art. The
town has plans to further this growth, with open air art, more murals
sculptures and festivals.
There are a multitude of attractions and activities to cater for every
palate within close proximity to Warm Earth:
